Reece James is so strong he doesn't even use the gym, says Ben Chilwell – The Chelsea Chronicle – Chelsea FC News

Ben Chilwell has named Reece James as the strongest in the Chelsea squad, but shares that he rarely uses the gym.
James, 22, is a Chelsea player that’s receiving big praise right now from teammates, opposition players and pundits.
The right wing-back is playing some of his best football in his young career, so he just needs to try stay grounded at a time he’s in the spotlight.
If he keeps up this form, surely he’s nailed on to start for Gareth Southgate’s England side in the winter World Cup.
Chelsea’s Chilwell has named his full-back partner James as the strongest player at Stamford Bridge. His strength is very much natural, though.
“Reece is probably the strongest player in our team. Reece doesn’t really go to the gym because he doesn’t need to. If Reece went to the gym, he’d get too big,” Chilwell said.
As well as real quality going forward, James is a defensive colossus that’s difficult for opposition players to face.
AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has actually praised the Chelsea and England star this week after coming up against him in the Champions League, naming him as his toughest opponent.
It’s easy to see why James loves the one-on-one physical battles because it’s very rare you’ll see somebody outmuscle him.
There’s still areas of his overall game that need fine-tuning, but that should come with more experience at the highest level.
If you were to throw some other Chelsea players into the mix for the strongest, Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be a great place to start. He’s a midfield powerhouse that’s so difficult to stop in full flow.
Elsewhere, you could look towards the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly. Also, the forwards Armando Broja and Kai Havertz.
