TULSA, Okla. — Around 17,000 people are planning to compete in a virtual, worldwide fitness competition inspired by the iconic sitcom Seinfeld. A Tulsa gym on S Sheridan will host “Festivus Games! For the Rest of Us” this Friday.
A 66-year-old Tulsa man is new to the fitness competitions, but he’s excited to compete against others Friday at the competition.
“I wanted to represent my gym because I have great coaches and great people I work out with,” Miller said. “It’s great exposure for Tulsa and our gym.”
He also spoke to how important staying active is for people his age.
“[Working out] is gonna keep [me] where I can keep doing things with my kids and my granddaughter,” Miller said. “I’ll have an attitude to keep doing things. I’ll just keep doing it as long as I can.”
