We Walk PHL is a free walking group that meets several times per week at various public parks. The fall season of We Walk PHL runs through October 31. View the list of sites below, grab your sneakers, and hit the trail! If you need more encouragement, check out these five reasons to join We Walk PHL today!
1) Meet new people
Joining We Walk PHL provides an opportunity to make new friends who enjoy spending time outdoors.
2) You can do it for free
There is no fee to join. You don’t have to pay for a gym membership or buy a treadmill. Just grab a comfortable pair of shoes and get moving.
3) Enjoy nature
The fall is the perfect time to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves begin to change colors and the weather becomes cooler. If you are lucky, you might even see a woodpecker, hawk, turtle or deer.
4) Support and encouragement
Walking with a friend will hold you accountable. It will motivate you to be more active. You are more likely to reach your goal if a friend is cheering you on.
5) It’s fun
Walking in nature and chatting with a friend is a lot more fun than walking on a treadmill. Exercising doesn’t have to be exhausting. Forget the sit-ups and go for a stroll in the park.

Before attending a walk, please check the We Walk PHL Facebook Group for schedule changes or cancellations.
