NEW HOPE, PA — A New Hope fitness studio will celebrate its official grand opening and one year anniversary with a public celebration on Saturday, November 5.
Fitness Inspired Independent Training (FIIThub) was opened by owner Scott Kunkel, a certified personal trainer and coach, in November 2021 after overcoming the many obstacles fitness professionals faced during the pandemic.
Scott, who previously worked at a local gym, went out on his own in 2020 at the onset of Covid-19, providing virtual as well as outdoor training. He set up his TRX bands underneath the cherry tree at Magill Hill and became a bit of a local fixture, providing a fitness experience enriched by the flora and fauna of beautiful Bucks County. After a flood in 2021 permanently closed some of the local studios, Scott moved his business indoors to its current location.
“In addition to hosting group fitness classes, team and individual training for my own clients, I designed FIIThub as a multi-purpose facility. It has space and resources for other independent personal trainers and group exercise instructors to grow their own businesses too,” said Kunkel.
The Grand Anniversary celebration will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include food, fun, prizes and a Founders dedication. FIIThub is located at 415 S. York Road, New Hope. For more information visit www.FIIThub.com.
