Alturas Business Partners buys Idaho FItness Factory – boisedev.com

Date:
Alturas, which owns and operates several companies out of Eagle, just created Alturas Business Partners, which is focused on acquiring, operating, and growing small-to-medium sized businesses in Idaho.
The new firm announced it acquired its first Idaho company – Idaho Fitness Factory.

Idaho Fitness Factory, which was founded in 2011, is a 24-hour gym that now has eight fitness clubs across the Treasure Valley. A group led by Cade Coltrin previously owned the chain.
“Idaho Fitness Factory was born in the Treasure Valley, and we found a successor who understands the importance of that legacy,” Idaho Fitness Factory co-founder Cory Coltrin said. “We couldn’t have imagined a better outcome for the business and our team.”
Alturas Business Partners says it doesn’t plan to make many changes to the Idaho Fitness Factory locations but will look for ways to grow. Both Boise and Meridian each have three Idaho Fitness Factory locations and Nampa and Caldwell each have one.

“Idaho Fitness Factory is a perfect fit for Alturas Business Partners because the business model and core values align with our goals and core values,” Alturas Business Partners CEO Ben Johnson said. “We look forward to bringing new Idaho Fitness Factory services and locations to the Treasure Valley and beyond in the coming years.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
